What does the aged care assessment process involve?
Before accessing government-funded aged care services, you’ll need an aged care assessment organised through My Aged Care by calling 1800 200 422.
An assessor will talk with you about your health, daily activities, living arrangements and the support you need. They’ll recommend the type of care you’re eligible for, whether that’s support at home, respite care or residential aged care.
