Ms Lewis was appointed mecwacare’s Chief Executive in 2007. She has over 45 years of experience in health, aged and disability care, including management at clinical and strategic levels within the acute, sub-acute, aged and community sectors. Ms Lewis has dedicated her career to the not-for-profit sector, using her skills and passion to deliver exceptional standards in care within a diverse multicultural team. During her time at mecwacare, she has significantly grown the organisation across the residential, home care, housing and disability portfolios through mergers, acquisitions and organic growth ensuring sustainability. Her financial acumen, property investment, corporate governance and authentic leadership skills have guided the organisation to be a leading service in Victoria. Ms Lewis is a member of the Australian College of Nursing and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Australian Institute of Management.

Ms Smart’s portfolio includes in-home nursing, home care services, private care, home care packages, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and day centres. She has overseen significant growth in mecwacare’s home care services and is experienced in seamless acquisitions and mergers ensuring a continuation of client services. Ms Smart has more than 30 years’ prior experience working in a range of management roles in local government and the not-for-profit sector. Ms Smart commenced at mecwacare in 2008.
Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Certified Practising Accountant
Mr Lambert oversees the Finance, Information Technology, Procurement, Property and Ancillary Services elements of the business. Mr Lambert has more than 15 years’ experience in the management of corporate services functions across the not-for-profit, local government and telecommunications sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from RMIT, is a Certified Public Accountant and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mr Lambert commenced his employment with mecwacare in 2020.

Ms Conn oversees mecwacare’s Quality and Risk, Learning and Development, Clinical Projects, Business Projects and Tenders and Research portfolios. Ms Conn is a registered psychologist with a specialisation in Health Psychology. Her commitment to a values-based approach to leadership and consumer engagement has been the driver for her career dedication to the not-for-profit sector. She has more than 20 years’ experience in management and clinical roles across a range of residential, community, acute and mental health settings for older people. Ms Conn commenced at mecwacare in 2007.
Ms Radge has extensive experience in the aged care sector, with previous responsibilities including a national role as Operations Manager Care Assessment - ACFI management and Operations Management - supporting facilities and roles in facility management. Ms Radge is passionate about the delivery of premium aged care and provides continuous support and guidance to the mecwacare facility managers across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. Ms Radge commenced at mecwacare in 2016.
Ms Camilleri is responsible for the Human Resources Department, including staff recruitment and retention, and the development and implementation of strategies to support a strong organisational culture to deliver on mecwacare’s values. Ms Camilleri has 24 years of HR management experience across manufacturing, retail and more recently, eight years in disability services in the not-for-profit sector. Her roles have included leading best-practice initiatives, acquisitions and mergers, industrial relations and organisational change management. Ms Camilleri commenced in her role in April 2016.
