With your support, we can provide vulnerable people with vital care and services.

Since 1959, mecwacare, a not-for-profit, non-denominational charitable organisation has supported those in need. Whether they are older people, have a disability, or require social services, we rely on our close-knit community for support.

As an organisation borne of volunteers, mecwacare provides residential aged care, retirement living, community and disability services, in-home care and nursing, and social support services.

Partnering with Play for Purpose will allow mecwacare to implement specialist dementia services. Your support makes it possible to better support patients and their families through turbulent times.

Your ticket matters

421,000 Australian people are living with dementia in 2024.

This number will double by 2054 and almost one million Aussies will directly endure the degenerative effects of dementia, with families and loved ones also hit hard.

With your support through Play for Purpose, mecwacare will fund specialist dementia services to educate, guide and assist patients and families to ensure those with dementia can achieve and maintain the highest quality of life possible.
