A supportive short stay for you or your loved one

Respite care provides a short-term stay that gives carers a break while supporting the wellbeing, independence and comfort of the person receiving care.

During their stay, respite guests enjoy the same care and services as our permanent residents. Each person has a private room with an ensuite, offering comfort and privacy throughout their time with us.

Registered nurses are on duty at all times, providing reassurance and support whenever it is needed. Our on-site chefs prepare fresh, nutritious meals each day.

Guests are also welcomed into our lifestyle program, with opportunities to connect with others and take part in activities that suit their interests and abilities.

Only available at Elstoft House in Hamlyn Heights (Geelong), Annie's Court in Shoreham, John Atchison Centre in Hoppers Crossing and O'Mara House in Traralgon.

Offer valid until 30 June 2026.
Includes two paid weeks of Respite Care, followed by two complimentary weeks, with no Basic Daily Fee during this period.
To qualify, payment for the first week must be paid upfront or upon arrival (credit card or direct transfer only).
Clients must hold a valid ACAT (Aged Care Assessment Tool) for respite.
A minimum of 21 days must be available within the client’s allocated 63 government-funded respite days for the 2025/2026 financial year.
Respite admission must occur on or before 30 June 2026.
Offer is not available to clients funded through third-party sources.
Emergency admissions do not qualify for this offer.
If respite extends beyond four weeks, a Basic Daily Care Fee will apply until transition to permanent care.
Offer is limited to one use per individual and is subject to availability.
