mecwacare announces strategic partnership with InteliCare
Melbourne, VIC — Thursday, 12 March 2026 — mecwacare has entered a strategic partnership with Australian technology company InteliCare, following a successful pilot at its Trescowthick Centre.
InteliCare’s AI-driven platform provides real-time insights, including fall detection, resident movement monitoring and automated reporting, helping mecwacare staff focus their time where it matters most — supporting residents.
The three-month trial demonstrated enhanced clinical oversight, improved operational efficiency and better resident care and social outcomes. mecwacare will progressively deploy InteliCare’s platform across all 22 residential aged care homes over the next five years.
“Our sector is facing significant structural challenges which include increasing cost pressures, workforce shortages and increasing complexity of resident needs,” said mecwacare CEO Anne McCormack MAICD.
