Celebrating 25 years of Golfing Partnerships

mecwacare’s 2026 Charity Golf Day raised more than $125,000.  

Proceeds from this years Annual Charity Golf Day events directly support the expansion of our dementia care capabilities across our aged-care portfolio. Thanks to the generosity of our participants, sponsors and partners, we have been able to invest in specialised training for our staff and strengthen programs that improve quality of life for residents living with cognitive impairment.

The ongoing support from our sponsors and donors supports our commitment to continue delivering compassionate, person-centred care to some of the most vulnerable members of our community. We will also continue to develop further care programs helping us meet the growing demand for high-quality dementia services across Victoria.

Our Annual Charity Golf Day has grown in support each year.

This is a great day of networking, socialising and of course – Golf, played on one of Melbourne’s premier courses. Since 2002, this flagship event has raised over $1,000,000 which has enabled mecwacare residents and clients to benefit from innovative care solutions that improve quality of life and promote independence.

Following our successful event in 2025, we are returned to Heritage Golf and Country Club for 18 holes of golf, followed by lunch at the Yarra Valley Lodge.
