More than 260 volunteers make a valuable contribution to many programs including the mecwacare Op Shops, transport programs, day activity programs and residential facilities.  We welcome all enquiries from you if you are interested in volunteering with us. This can be a very rewarding experience, and also helps mecwacare to continue essential work in the community. mecwacare volunteers may be involved in any of the following: Community Centre day activity programs  Craft activities  Music and dance sessions  Transport for clients, collecting and delivering donated goods  Friendly visits  Reading  Serving in mecwacare Kiosks  Retail sales in Op Shops  Administrative tasks  Gardening The first step to becoming a mecwacare volunteer is to contact our Human Resources team on (03) 9563 6226 or email volunteers@mecwacare.org.au
