Bequests
Become our partner in caring for future generations by leaving a bequest to mecwacare .
Making a bequest in favour of mecwacare is a fulfilling way to ensure that the care and commitment of mecwacare staff can continue after you are gone.
There are several options in making a bequest:
When considering a bequest, you can make a cash gift and combine it with a bequest in your Will to maximize the tax effectiveness.
The benefit to you is to obtain a tax deduction for the gift made during your lifetime, thereby preserving part of your assets for you and your Estate. The benefit to mecwacare is to be able to use the cash component immediately.
You can also choose several other ways to make a bequest to mecwacare
- A gift of a percentage of your residual Estate
- A gift of the balance of your estate after looking after your family
- A gift of a lump sum
- A gift of personal belongings such as shares, property, paintings, furniture, etc.
When making a Will it is important to seek professional advice and consider your family members.
