Mr Syme is a former President of The Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital and Chairman of State Council of St John Ambulance Victoria. Mr Hood is an Executive Search Consultant and a Vice Chairman of mecwacare, and Chairman of the Clinical/Service Governance Committee. He is also a member of the Chief Executive Review Committee. Mr Atchison is a Company Director of a building and engineering consultancy and a Vice Chairman of mecwacare. Mr Squires is the Chairman of the Finance and Audit Committe.He began his career as a civil engineer in Tasmania. After gaining his MBA in England, he returned to Australia to pursue a career in the corporate finance sector encompassing roles at Macquarie Bank, Citi National and UBS, where he became a Director for ten years. Since retiring, Mr Squires has been a Director of several Companies, including Chairman of Oliver J Nilsen. He has had much involvement with the governance of Lauriston Girls' School in Victoria.
