mecwacare has provided care to the community for 50 years, offering residential aged care, respite care, in-home support, disability and nursing services, providing optimal choice for people of all ages, irrespective of financial, religious, cultural or lifestyle background.
We care for over 6,000 people each week across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria through a highly integrated service network operated by more than 900 employees and over 250 volunteers. mecwacare has responded to the changing needs of the communities it works amongst, by constantly seeking out and adopting new caring initiatives.

mecwacare was founded in 1959 by a group of community minded citizens within the
Malvern Council and The Rotary Club of Malvern.
