Michele Lewis

Chief Executive

Michele Lewis became mecwacare’s Chief Executive in 2007. She previously held the role of Director of Residential Services at the organisation.

Michele has over 30 years of experience in health and aged care, including management at clinical and strategic levels within acute, sub-acute, aged and community sectors. She has dedicated her career to the not-for-profit sector, using her skills and her passion to deliver exceptional standards in aged and disability care. Michele is a member of the Australian College of Nursing and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Australian Institute of Management.

Susan Camilleri

General Manager People and Culture 

Susan is responsible for the Human Resources Department, staff recruitment and retention, and the development and implementation of strategies to support a strong organisational culture to deliver on the mecwacare Values. She commenced in her role in April 2016. 

Susan has 20 years of HR Management experience across Manufacturing, Retail and more recently 8 years in Disability Services in the not-for-profit sector. Her roles have included leading best practice initiatives, acquisitions and mergers, industrial relations and organisational change management.

Executive General Manager Business Improvement
BA, BA (Hons), MPsych (Health)

Leesa commenced her employment with mecwacare in 2007.  As Executive General Manager Business Improvement Leesa oversees the management of the Learning and Development portfolio, Nurse Education, Research, Quality and Risk Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Projects and Tenders.

Leesa has 15 years' experience in management and clinical roles across a range of residential, community, acute and mental-health settings for seniors. Leesa is a registered psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society’s Psychology and Ageing Interest Group.

 Linda Smart

Linda Smart

Executive General Manager Home and Community Services 
BA (Disability)

Linda commenced at mecwacare in 2008. Linda oversees our Home Care and Community Services including in home care services, private care, nursing care, home care packages, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Day Centres, Community Housing and retirement living services.

Linda has over 20 years of prior experience working in a range of management roles in local government, and not for profits, including case management, centre management, community housing and residential services

 

Loretta Radge

General Manager Residential Services
RN

Loretta commenced her role as General Manager Residential Services with mecwacare in December 2016. 

Loretta has extensive experience in the aged care sector, with previous responsibilities including a national role in ACFI management and prior roles in facility management. She is passionate about the delivery of premium aged care, and aims to provide continued support and guidance to the mecwacare facility managers across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
